Search Warrant Leads to Two Individuals Facing Drug Charges

A quantity of drugs and currency has been seized after police execute a search warrant in Clarington.

On Friday, November 24, 2023, members from the East Division Community Response Team, in collaboration with Central West Division Community Response Team and the Drug Enforcement Unit, concluded an investigation into alleged drug trafficking in Clarington. A search warrant was executed at a residence in the area of Nash Road and Varcoe Road and resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of Canadian and American currency, as well as drugs, totaling over $90,000 in value. Two individuals were arrested without incident.

Eric EASTWOOD, age 37, of Clarington, has been charged with; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) x2, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA) and Traffic in Schedule I Substance (Cocaine).

Jennifer JARDINE, age 43, of Whitby has been charged with; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) x2, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA) and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

Both parties were held for a bail hearing.
