Single Motor Vehicle Collision Results in Fatality

A 71-year-old female is deceased following a single motor vehicle collision

On Friday, July 21, 2023, at approximately 10:15 a.m., members of West Division were called to Pickering Uxbridge Townline and Sideline 28, Pickering, for a single motor vehicle collision. The vehicle had been travelling southbound on Sideline 28 when the vehicle left the roadway. The female driver was transported to a local-area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.  

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
