Suspect Wanted After Robbing a Couple of Jewelry

A male suspect is wanted after robbing a couple of personal jewelry in Pickering.

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at approximately 1:15 p.m., members of West Division were called to the area of Azalea Avenue and Burkholder Drive, Pickering for a robbery. The victims were returning to their residence when the suspect approached the female in the driveway and forcefully removed her jewelry. A physical altercation took place, in which the suspect was stripped of his shorts and shoes. The suspect fled on foot to a vehicle that was last seen travelling northbound on Burkholder Drive.

Minor physical injuries were reported by the victims.

The suspect is described as male, Black, 20-30 years of age, medium build, wearing a black jacket, white socks and neon green gloves.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Volkswagen 4-door sedan, possibly 2015-2018, with damage to the rear passenger door.

Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed or have video footage, including dash-cam, of this incident to please contact police.
