Three Charged in Drug Investigation

Two females and one male are facing charges after a drug investigation led to the seizure of a quantity of drugs in Oshawa.

On Thursday, May 9, 2024, members of the Community Resource Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a warrant without incident in the area of Cedar Street and Knights Road.  12 parties were located in the residence along with cocaine, fentanyl and currency, which were seized.  Two females and one male were taken into custody without incident and the remaining parties were referred to community-based treatment programs.

Justice MCWHIRTER, age 24 from Oshawa is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine).

Abram WALSH, age 29 from Oshawa is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl).

Catherine EDWARDS, age 26 from Oshawa is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl).

All parties were released on an Undertaking.
