UPDATE #4 Fire Investigation in Oshawa is now a Homicide Investigation

Josh BICKLE was located and arrested early this morning.

On Monday, March 6, 2023, at approximately 9:50 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to an address on Court Street after receiving a call to assist the Oshawa Fire Department. Oshawa Fire was on scene for a house fire and were able to extinguish the blaze. One person was located in the home deceased.  His death was ruled a homicide. 

On Friday, November 24, 2023 members of the Offender Management Unit located BICKLE in the area of Mary Street North and Adelaide Avenue East in Oshawa.  With the assitance of the Tactical Support Unit, BICKLE was arrested without incident.

Josh BICKLE, age 37 of Tweed has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

He has been held for a bail hearing.
